The Finance & Banking cluster positions Silica City as the commercial and economic nerve centre of Guyana. Major banking institutions are expected to anchor the district, with capital markets infrastructure housed in close proximity — consolidating and modernising Guyana's financial services in a single, purpose-built environment.

The district will also include a representative office of the new Development Bank, reflecting the government's commitment to reducing dependency on Georgetown's aging commercial corridors.
