Density Model
A new kind of home for a new kind of city
Silica City housing will be fairly unique to Guyana’s current development housing climate. Currently, almost all housing units are fully detached single family house, with two stories being the highest most build go. This is largely due to low population density combined with the realities of the soil type and water content profile being so close to the sea and below sea level.
Silica City will have a combination of single dwelling detached units and will also feature high rises as the soil type allows for more dynamic, vertical options. An option that would almost certainly see more units become available at a more affordable price per square footage.
