As early discussions emerged, the vision focused on sustainable housing, smart infrastructure, economic diversification, and long-term national development planning for future generations.
Silica City — the original vision
Guyana's first smart urban centre is conceived as a climate-resilient highland settlement along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway, envisioned as a renewable-energy-powered city built on the Low Carbon Development Strategy.
