The commercial core is planned as the hallmark of downtown — strategically positioned between the residential districts and the offices for government services, banking, and diplomacy to maximise footfall and economic activity.

The district will feature a central shopping centre, mixed-use street frontage with retail and dining, and commercial office space for businesses serving the city's growing population. Hotels and hospitality facilities are also included in the first phase plans, catering to investors, visitors, and the incoming professional workforce.
